The Colonel’s Kitchen

The school canteen is open daily, Monday to Friday, during Gozen (lunch) and Gogo (recess) breaks offering healthy food options:

• hot and cold food
• vegetarian and gluten free options
• fresh or frozen fruit
• ice blocks and a variety of drinks are available over the counter during breaks or through the QKR app.

Gozen is 11.30am and Gogo 1.50pm.

School families and staff have the ability to order both recess and lunch items daily prior to 8am via the Qkr app.

Special Food Days

Each term we do a variety of Special Food Days to celebrate different occasions or to introduce a new item – to determine if to put on the menu. These days help raise funds to assist with the ongoing running of the canteen and upgrading of equipment.

Foodery Group

Weekly specials are available to purchase from Thursday till sold out. Orders can be made through QKR or over the counter. Savoury or sweet items are all homemade.
This group is made up of around 10 students who have been selected specifically to be part of something amazing. The students are responsible for deciding what to make, creating a shopping list, making the items, calculating costs, and advertising. Items are sold through the Canteen and profits are set aside for end of year celebrations.

Volunteering in the Canteen

Volunteers are an important part of our school community, we welcome parents, grandparents to assist with lunch order preparation, service at Gogo and Gozen.
