Liz joined CLG from Coromandel Valley Primary School in 2022 taking on her second Principal role. Liz’s key focus is the facilitation of the Site Improvement Plan and working alongside the school community to continually improve student learning opportunities at CLG.
Having worked in various curriculum roles as well as Deputy and Principal leadership roles, Liz will provide leadership and support for staff to continually reflect upon quality learning initiatives. As Principal, her role also includes other responsibilities including communication, finance, curriculum initiatives, Education subcommittee and staff development.

Prior to joining CLG in 2023, Stew was a Middle School Leader at Blackwood High School with a focus on Learner Improvement and Pedagogy. In his role as Assistant Principal, Stew’s focus will be on curriculum development and high quality teaching and learning across all year levels at CLG.
Having worked across a variety of schools and in numerous roles, Stew brings a wealth of experience in classroom management, pedagogy, curriculum development as well as intellectual support and stretch. He will be supporting the implementation of the Site Improvement Plan, with an emphasis on Numeracy development.
Stew is greatly invested in immersing himself in the CLG community and continuing to build on its already strong foundations.
Jess has been working at CLG since 2017. In that time, she has taken on a range of teaching roles, with her passion including working with students in the upper primary. In 2020 Jess successfully took on the position of Assistant Principal – Digital Learning and Pedagogy.
For 2023, she joins us again in the leadership team supporting in the role of Assistant Principal – Student Support. Jess develops strong relationships with students, staff and families and will be a great addition to the leadership team for 2023. She looks forward to challenging herself professionally, supporting staff in her role and getting to know students across all year levels.
Michelle has been immersed in the CLG culture since 2019, having taught Visual Arts across the year levels. She is passionate about wellbeing and enhancing students’ lives through a positive education approach, and is currently studying a Masters in Art Therapy. Her focus as Wellbeing and Engagement Coordinator is to strengthen student wellbeing and community wellbeing as a whole school priority, with wellbeing critical to shaping a positive future for students and ultimately the world.
Michelle will be putting her creative flair into the existing social emotional programs and developing student agency and voice within our shared wellbeing world, here at CLG. Michelle enjoys working alongside students, staff and the community to ensure that people are valued, heard and respected with all their innate gifts and strengths, creating moments that will be memorable and treasured.
